I wrote this in October of 2010. Not exactly cheery, but I found it the other day and sort of liked it.

Colors

I see the world in black and white.

No red. No blue. No green.

I see the world in black and white.

With bits of gray between.

I see the small and big alike.

The world holds nothing new.

I do not feel alive anymore.

I live all day in my head.

I don’t know how to fix all this.

It’s all my fault, they say.
